Since our beginnings, Grace Village, a Christian not-for-profit organization, has grown to
be one of the area's premier CCRC's.
Whether you choose any of the Village's living options for a residence you will find
the amenities, services, and values to be superior.
Couples and single persons 55 and older have the opportunity to join the Grace Village
Retirement Community and enjoy their retirement years with outstanding quality of life.
The mission of Grace Village Retirement Community is to enable older adults to live to
their fullest potential in the security of a Christian community.
Grace Village Residential Care (Assisted Living)
Choosing an Assisted Living facility can be difficult. There are many to choose from and
they all seem to offer something different. Comparing the values of services available can
be complicated. It is important to establish whether a facility has chosen to be
licensed.
What is the difference and what will it mean to you? IT is simple; a licensed facility can
offer you more services and ultimately will allow you to stay in Assisted Living longer. In
the State of Indiana there is no Assisted Living License. Those who choose to be licensed
must obtain a Residential Licensure and are subject to strict regulation and must successfully
pass yearly inspections by the Department of Health.
Grace Village has held a Residential License since we began providing Assisted Living almost
30 years ago. We know that our residents want the services that are afforded to them by
living in a licensed building. Being licensed means that we have professional staff 24 hours
a day that can communicate with physicians, take orders and administer medications.
Furthermore, our certified Dietician reviews our menu and makes sure our home-cooked meals
are prepared to special dietary needs.
For those who have long term care insurance, Licensure can mean that your policy may partially
reimburse for your stay in Assisted Living.
A plan of care will be written for each resident upon admission. Our licensed staff will
work with the residents and their physicians to make sure each person receives assistance
catered to their needs.
